It is a great sports car with combined feature of quick and sporty nature with practicality and affordability for the daily man.

The car is a powerful one making use of a 6.2 liter V8 430 hp engine. Chevrolet Corvette has a six speed manual gearbox and delivers a stunning performance of 0 – 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. EPA fuel economy is laudable with 16 mpg city/ 26 mpg highway. The Corvette’s iconic design is being loved by everyone. The 2010 Chrysler 300 which is full-size sport/ luxury car ranks 4 in the list of large affordable Cars. The ranking is done based upon the test- drives. The maturing Chrysler 300 still wins points for fashion, and in upper orderly levels, for pure power.

The 300C was announced the 2005 ‘Motor Trend Car of the Year’ and ranked on Car and Driver’s Ten Best list for 2005 and 2006. It also bagged the NorthAmerican Car of the Year and Canadian Car of the Year Best New Luxury Car awards. According to one of the 1998 Chrysler advertisement, the 300 is the most-awarded new car ever. The 300 takes-over to 2010 with nominal changes.

The 2010 is being ranked as NO.1 in the category of luxury midsize SUVs and is defined as one of the best sporty crossover. Acura is said to be a brand that never rests on its laurels and has underwent a numerous changes.

The Acura MDX makes use of a 3.7 liter V6 with 300 HP and 275 lb-ft of torque. This is the most powerful engine ever for Acura. The car races from 0-60 km in 8.1 sec. thus MDX offers a combination of high tech cabin and smooth handling in its class.

The things which go against MDX are cramped third row which is suitable for children only; the edgy exterior is off putting. The MDX is too pricey for its features. Hence, keeping aside its catchy features the MDX boosts of much superior handling and body control in its category and has driving dynamics on par with top competitors. Overall rating is 4.5/5.

Mazda finally involved in the hybrid scene of the car, providing the same size & convenience as the regular Tribute but with the added environmental benefits of a hybrid power train. It is basically a re-skinned Ford Escape Hybrid, using the same power train and many of the same interior facilites.The Mercury Mariner also take up or borrow from the Escape Hybrid, so hybrid shoppers can choose from three flavors of the same vehicle. In terms of style, the Mazda Tribute  Hybrid goes against the grain of the rest of the brand’s model line because of its traditional standing apart from the sleek and sporty look of the other Mazda cars and crossovers. A decidedly low-key model, Mazda’s first hybrid vehicle was apparently based on the ease of adapting the Escape’s drive train, rather than an effort to create some buzz and excitement for the Mazda brand.

Mazda’s first Tribute hybrid  car is available in two trims, the Touring and Grand Touring and it features a new 2.5 liter with 153 horsepower four-cylinder engine, which is mated to an electronically controlled continuously variable automatic transmission. A 70 kilowatt electric motor works in combination with the gas engine and cruise up to 25 mph on electricity alone. The Vehicle System Controller (VSC) utilizes advanced software to ensure smooth transition between the electric motor and gasoline engine. The electronically controlled, continuously variable transmission generates and transfers power to the wheels, with no noticeable shift points. Fuel economy of the Tribute Hybrid is near the top of the list of most fuel efficient SUVs. The Tribute Hybrid is seen in limited quantities in California and competes with the Saturn Vue Hybrid and Ford Escape Hybrid.
